Tandoori masala is a very popular spice in Indian cuisine. Originally used for the dishes prepared in the Tandoor/Clay oven (e.g. first Cheese (Paneer) or any other ingredient is marinated in a mix of tandoori masala and plain yoghurt).
Nowadays tandoori masala is used for marinating grilled dishes, baked in a normal oven or even those fried in a pan.
